In April 2025, we welcomed three new individuals to The Orange Catholic Foundation's Light of Christ Legacy Society during a special Mass and luncheon on the Christ Cathedral campus.
Is it Time to Expand Your Family Circle?
Proverbs 13:22 says, “The good leave an inheritance to their children’s children.” No matter your path, you have the opportunity to live out this verse. It’s a simple concept known as “Child Called Charity” —adding a Catholic parish, cause or ministry you’re deeply connected with to your estate plan as one of your heirs. For instance, a couple with three children might choose to divide their estate into three equal parts or they could split it into four, ensuring that each child receives a quarter while also designating a share for their extended Church family.
